Zhejiang Wodeer Technology Group is dedicated to the key sectors of automotive electronics, lightweight solutions, precision mechanical components, and intelligent robot core components, with a strong focus on independent research and development and technological innovation in critical parts and systems. To date, the Group has established a global R&D network across Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taizhou, Ningbo, Suzhou, Wuhan, Chongqing, Chengdu, Yingtan, and Stuttgart, Germany, and has founded 11 specialized R&D centers. Bringing together more than 800 highly skilled R&D professionals, Wodeer has filed over 500 patent applications. Several of its proprietary core technologies have successfully filled gaps in the domestic industry, demonstrating its strong innovation capabilities and technological leadership. Through a comprehensive innovation system that integrates domestic and international collaboration, cross-disciplinary synergies, and seamless R&D-to-manufacturing integration, Wodeer has built a robust technological foundation for high-quality growth, continuous product innovation, and expansion into high-end markets, further strengthening its core competitive advantages.
Hangzhou Headquarters R&D Center
Established in December 2025, the Hangzhou Headquarters R&D Center is located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, with a total office area of nearly 6,000 square meters. As Wodeer’s core strategic R&D platform, the center focuses on the intelligent robotics sector, driving the research and development of key technologies and core components for collaborative and humanoid robots. It serves as the Group’s primary hub for technological innovation, product development, and continuous advancement of its AI robotics business.
Shanghai R&D Center
Established in March 2017 and located in Minhang District, Shanghai, the center brings together a team of highly experienced automotive component experts from both China and abroad. Focused on the field of automotive electronic control core components, the center is dedicated to advancing key technologies for intelligent actuators, including ignition coils, electric oil pumps, electric water pumps, and brushless motors. Through continuous innovation and technological breakthroughs, it plays a vital role in driving the evolution of intelligent vehicle systems.
Shenzhen R&D Center
Established in December 2017 and located in Bao’an District, Shenzhen, the center leverages the strong industrial ecosystem and concentration of advanced electronics enterprises in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. The center focuses on the research, design, and technical optimization of ADAS in-vehicle vision modules, while expanding into the development of imaging sensors for AI robots and industrial robots. Through continuous innovation, it is building strong core technological capabilities in the field of intelligent vision systems.
Taizhou R&D Center
Established in January 2012 and located in Taizhou Bay New Area, Taizhou City, the Center is the Group’s earliest and most important core R&D base. It has long been dedicated to the automotive and industrial sensing sectors, with a primary focus on the research, development, and innovation of Hall-effect sensors and temperature sensors. At the same time, it actively advances the development of specialized sensors for high-end applications such as humanoid robots and aerospace systems. By building industry-leading sensor core technologies, the Center serves as the foundation for the Group’s position as a leading player in the sensor industry.
Ningbo R&D Center
Established in April 2024 and located in the Ningbo National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the Center focuses on core mechatronics integration technologies. It is responsible for the research and development of hardware and software for intelligent actuator system controllers, as well as technology optimization and product iteration and upgrading, driving the intelligent, integrated, and precision-oriented development of actuator systems.
Suzhou R&D Center
Established in July 2021 and located in Suzhou Industrial Park, the Center focuses on the development, performance optimization, and process upgrading of specialized sensors for new energy vehicles, including pressure and current sensors. In parallel, it benchmarks international industry standards and addresses the needs of overseas customers by conducting forward-looking research on differentiated products for global markets. Through these efforts, the Center supports the Group’s global market expansion strategy.
Wuhan R&D Center (Global Simulation Center)
Established in November 2021 and located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, the Center leverages the region’s strong concentration of academic and research talent. As the Group’s dedicated global simulation technology hub, it is responsible for coordinating structural, optical, fluid dynamics, and other simulation analyses throughout the R&D process for the Group’s full range of products. The Center provides comprehensive technical support for product structure optimization, performance validation, process improvement, and quality enhancement.
Chongqing R&D Center
Established in December 2025 and located in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, the center specializes in automotive interior lighting solutions. Its core focus includes the structural design of ambient lighting, reading lights, and interior lighting products, optical simulation and calibration, software and hardware system integration, as well as innovation in intelligent interior lighting technologies.
Chengdu R&D Center
Established in December 2025 and located in Chengdu Tianfu New Area, the center leverages the strong new energy vehicle ecosystem in Southwest China. It focuses on the integrated development of automotive electric water pumps, electric oil pumps, and brake motors, with expertise in system integration, structural design, and hardware optimization. The center is committed to supporting the evolving needs of China’s new energy vehicle industry and its supply chain upgrades.
Yingtan R&D Center
Established in December 2021 and located in Yujiang District, Yingtan, the Center serves as the Group’s core integrated R&D and manufacturing platform and is also home to the Group’s Comprehensive Testing and Prototyping Center, accredited by CNAS. Leveraging the local integrated manufacturing base, the Center has built a full-industry-chain R&D system spanning both upstream and downstream operations. On the downstream side, it focuses on the development, testing, and certification of intelligent actuation systems, including various sensors, electric pumps, and brushless motors. Upstream, its activities cover the research, validation, and process development of motor cores, stamped terminals, lead screws, precision shafts, aluminum die-casting, and recycled aluminum melting technologies. The center also provides on-site technical support, process optimization, and continuous product quality improvement services across the Group’s manufacturing facilities, enabling efficient collaboration between R&D and mass production.
European R&D Center (Stuttgart, Germany)
Established in January 2018 and based in Stuttgart, Germany, the Center leverages the region’s world-class automotive ecosystem and research resources. It focuses on new energy vehicle sensors and advanced upstream semiconductor technologies, with expertise in automotive pressure, temperature, and current sensors, as well as intelligent actuators. By driving innovation and application development in these key technology areas, the center aligns with international automotive standards and supports the Group’s global high-end product development and technology advancement.
The R&D area covers approximately 1,200 square meters and is supported by around 600 square meters of dedicated laboratory and testing space. The European R&D team focuses on the development, adaptation, and validation of current, voltage, pressure, position, and temperature sensors, as well as on intelligent electronic control units (ECUs) for new energy vehicles. In addition, by the end of 2026, the company plans to establish a modern current sensor production line covering approximately 1,000 square meters, dedicated to the series production of high-end components for electric vehicles. Starting in 2028, the company will progressively deploy electric oil pump production lines and integrate them with high-precision sensor systems for complementary applications. At the same time, the production site is also planned to include approximately 700 square meters of warehousing and logistics space, as well as around 300 square meters of office space, providing comprehensive support for production and operational requirements.
